02 · Event and show coverage

Coverage that is shot with the recap in mind.

Talks, live shows, brand events and on-location features, shot by the person who will cut them. That one fact changes the coverage: wides are there for context, tights are there for the moments that carry the edit, and nothing is missing when the recap starts.

What you get

  • Single and multi camera coverage of talks, shows and events
  • Interview-led features and brand pieces, lit on location
  • Recaps, sizzles and highlight edits
  • Show opens and intros for recurring series
  • Raw footage handoff when your own team is cutting

Built for

  • Conference and TEDx organizers
  • Shows, hosts and podcasts
  • Hospitals, schools and nonprofits
  • Brands launching something in Los Angeles

How it runs

From brief to delivery.

  1. 1

    Brief and run of show

The goal, the venue, the schedule and where the video will live. That decides cameras, audio and crew.

  2. 2

    Shoot day

Camera, audio and, where the venue allows it, drone. Media is backed up on site before anyone leaves.

  3. 3

    Select and cut

A first cut of the recap or feature on the agreed date, with music and graphics in place.

  4. 4

    Deliver and version

Masters for your channels, cut-downs for social, and clips for speakers and sponsors.

TEDx Inglewood Recap

Event coverage and a recap cut for the Inglewood TEDx stage.

Questions

Before you send the brief.

Can you shoot and edit, or just one of the two?

Both, or either. TEDx Inglewood, the Jess With The Mess open and the DeKalb Medical feature were all shot and cut by Kiory. If you only need coverage, the footage is handed off organized and synced.

Do you bring a crew?

Single operator for most talks and features. Multi camera shows are crewed up based on the run of show.

Do you fly a drone at events?

Where the venue and airspace allow it, yes. Aerials are flown by Kiory himself.
